Bill is the founder and CEO of RainKing. Bill has a long history of building successful companies. He has built financial service firms, newspaper and information companies, and database businesses. His most recent success, prior to RainKing, was bigdough.com, the leading marketing resource for the capital markets industry. Bigdough was consistently in the top 100 of the INC 500 list of fastest growing companies. The company was acquired by a major NYC-based private equity firm at the end of 2004. Bill is married and has three sons. He enjoys coaching youth sports, fishing and the outdoors. He is active in several charities. He lives in Bethesda MD.
John is RainKing’s Chief Financial Officer. For 14 years, John worked for Group 1 Software, where he was Controller, VP, Finance and VP of Operations. Lanham, MD-based Group 1 was a $220 million company which was purchased by Pitney Bowes, Inc. in 2004. John lives in Columbia MD with his wife and three children. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He enjoys basketball, lacrosse and spending time with his family.
Prior to RainKing, Dennis was SVP and Chief Technology Officer CQ Roll Call, a large division of The Economist. He has over 20 years of technology leadership experience ranging from early stage startups, including JumpTap, to Fortune 100 companies, including IBM. Dennis also held senior level positions at Monster Worldwide. Dennis has a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and completed the Duke Executive Leadership program. Dennis is a member of the Washington CTO Roundtable.
Elizabeth is RainKing’s Chief Sales Officer. She brings more than 20 years of major success in selling technology products and services. She has served as an executive sales officer in a high growth $220M public software company (NASDAQ:GSOF), and was a key business development executive at Pitney Bowes’ $400M dedicated software unit. Elizabeth holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. She lives in Potomac Falls, VA and enjoys travel, hiking, and golfing with her husband.
Anil is RainKing’s Chief Content Officer. He brings more than 15 years of experience in leading research and content teams. He spent 10 years as a senior product executive at the Corporate Executive Board, one of the world’s premier business-to-business information services companies. Most recently Anil was the Head of Global Research at Frontier Strategy Group, a venture-backed research organization targeted at emerging markets executives. He is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and following the Indian cricket team as well as the Chicago Bulls and Bears.
Wayne is currently CEO of Sonatype, a heavily venture-backed, open-source pioneer in the application security field. Prior to Sonatype, Jackson led Columbia MD-based SourceFire to explosive growth in sales and a successful IPO. Prior to SourceFire he co-founded Riverbed Technologies, a Virginia-based mobile software company that sold to Aether Systems for $1 Billion. Wayne also has been involved as a venture capital advisor and investor with Baltimore MD-based NEA Partners and other venture funds. He is considered one of the venture community’s favorite CEOs for his ability to take companies from early growth to successful exits.
In his spare time, Wayne climbs mountains and races cars. He has scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro and 22 of Colorado’s 54 mountain peaks over 14,000. He has also climbed the highest peak in Antarctica. Originally from the Tidewater VA area, Wayne resides in Columbia MD with his wife and several children.
Brian Radecki was appointed CoStar Group’s Chief Financial Officer in 2007. He has served in a number of financial and senior executive positions since joining the company in 1997.
Prior to his appointment as CFO, Mr. Radecki served as Vice President of Research Operations, the company’s largest operating area, and before that he was Director of Accounting and Finance where he was involved in every aspect of the company’s accounting and finance functions in the U.S. and U.K. – from internal audit, tax and budgeting to SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Mr. Radecki also served as an integral member of CoStar’s IPO team in 1998 and follow-on public offering in 1999. He has played a key role in the company’s mergers and acquisitions, including the purchase, integration and operation of Comps, Inc. in 2000, FOCUS in 2003, and the Scottish Property Network the following year.
Prior to joining CoStar, Mr. Radecki was the accounting manager at Axent Technologies, Inc. a publicly held international security software company. He also worked at Azerty, Inc. and the public accounting firm, Lumsden & McCormick, LLP, in Buffalo, NY. He earned a B.S. in business administration and a dual degree in both accounting and finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
