Manager of IT

Maintain non-production RainKing Infrastructure and provide helpdesk support to on and offsite employees. Must coordinate closely with research, sales and tech teams to meet business needs. Must be a motivated self starter with excellent trouble-shooting and communication skills.

Duties Include:
  • Maintain onsite server and desktop environments (Windows Server 2005, 2008, Windows XP, Vista, 7, Linux)
  • Maintain onsite security through firewall and router configuration and anti-spam, anti-virus technologies
  • Support and maintain onsite network, routers, switches, firewalls (VLANS, bandwidth management, QOS, monitoring)
  • Maintain SSL VPN and remote availability
  • Support business application servers to include proprietary and commercial applications (RK apps, JIRA, Quickbooks)
  • Maintain NAS and network backups of critical systems and files
  • Support and service the VOIP MITEL phone system and call reporting servers
  • Provide asset and inventory management and work with senior leadership for budget projections
  • Manage Active Directory and DNS for local onsite domain
  • Provide support for hosted email, office applications and communication technologies (gotomeeting, skype, etc)
  • Manage multiple vendors and contracts for IT services to include, phones, internet, VOIP, software licensing
  • Support a variety of mobile devices (various blackberries, iphones)
  • Provide general and technical helpdesk support in office
